The First Snowfall

Many you are probably still shoveling and dealing with that first snowfall Wisconsin received this winter. Jen wasn't yet wearing a coat outside and then Beaver Dam was hit with 13 inches of snow (she had to start bundling up)!

Jen was very fortunate to be able to stay inside where it was safe and Graham was thankful to have his big, heavy duty truck to get to work (a three minute commute helped as well).

Here are just some pictures of what West Street looked like after the big snowfall!

The very first time our sidewalks needed shoveling......Graham did an excellent job! Luckily our neighbor offered to plow out our driveway or we would still be bundled up inside with no place to go!

We were able to find Jen's Escape under all of the snow!

Here is a picture of our backyard (notice the branches on the tree drooping down from all of the heavy snow).

A view of the street (and our thoughtful neighbor with his snowblower).

The powerline outside of our house was even covered -- the reason why so many went without power for days. We were lucky, only the DirecTV stopped working for a few minutes!
