This was our very first year with being able to have a real tree. We went and picked it out and cut it down ourselves. And although it took until last weekend to get it out of our house (thanks Carl), a real tree was by far better!
Yes, we decide to choose a tree that was at the bottom of the hill and pass all those perfectly nice trees towards the top!

Decorating night....this is when we discovered most of our Christmas decorations we had in storage were ruined :-(
