Now that Valentine’s Day has officially passed, I can show you how I decorated my mantel for St. Patty’s Day!
I set out this past weekend to the local thrift stores to gather my goodies. I had a budget of $30. Did I do it? You bet I did. I was able to decorate my mantel with a combination of bought items, crafted items, and things I already had on hand! I spent a total of $28.85 out of pocket, including tax. I am excited with some of the items I purchased because I will most certainly be able to re-use them in future decorated mantels!
Over the next couple of days, I will be showing you how I crafted some of the things you see above. All said and done, the mantel took me about an hour to put together, even with crafting together some of the items.
My favorite part? The little leprechaun holding the clover – we have named him Fred. I got him at Hobby Lobby (I had a gift card that I received as a reward for using my CC, so he was free).
Happy St. Patty’s Day!
