The Composter

One project Graham worked on when we first moved in was our composter.  Graham built the composter from leftover and scrap materials.

Jen learned that you have to add "brown" and "green" things to make your compost work.  Graham added the "brown" with the MANY leaves he raked up in our backyard. 

We will use the compost in the spring to fertilize our garden.  Here is a picture of the first "green" we added (Graham was very proud):
