I have been dreaming of the day when DH and I actually START remodeling our kitchen instead of just TALKING about it. Well, that day has FINALLY come! We are officially embarking on a kitchen remodel project. I cannot be more excited! Therefore, I have been looking at a ton of “would like to have” items and frantically adding them all to my wishlist.
One of the things we plan on adding is a kitchen island. Today’s Wishlist Wednesday is based upon that part of our design.
This kitchen island from Broyhillfurniture.com is pretty close to the style that I will want. We are going to be painting all of the cabinets white and installing a darker colored countertop when we redo the kitchen, but I am thinking I will still want the butcher block on the island. However, priced at $1,629, in order to get this puppy off my wishlist, I will most certainly have to DIY a version!
